ABOUT SCHOOL

HISTORY

The foundation stone of Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Sanstha was laid down in 1993-94. The full fledged institution started functioning from 2010-11. The school is led and guided by a Core Team of four members :Mr. Deepam Patel, Mr. Dilip Jain, Mr. Ajay Paliwal and Mr. Rajkishorsingh Chauhan.

Today Vivek Mandir School has about 1700 students, 70 well qualified and experienced faculty members and support team of 40 persons. Plans for development are always ongoing for the betterment of students.Vivek Mandir School is a co-educational English medium school located in the city of Gondia (MS) managed by Swami Vivekananda Education Society, Gondia.

➢ To preserve cultural heritage of India.

➢ To give them a strong feel to contribute for the country.

Vivek Mandir aims to provide its students an environment to discover abilities and to groom them in such a way so that they can utilize IQ at best. Simultaneously we want to inculcate values in students to make them responsible citizens and good human beings.

Vivek Mandir School is managed by Swami Vivekananda Shikshan Sanstha, Gondia, established and registered under Society’s Registration Act 1860 (Registration No. 129/92 Bhandara) and Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 (Registration No. F-3891)

Mrs. Neeta Umesh Karwat, M.Sc., B.Ed., DSH, is a dedicated and visionary educationist with a strong academic background and rich experience in the field of education. She is committed to nurturing young minds with a perfect blend of knowledge, discipline, and values. Under her dynamic leadership, the school strives to provide quality education, encourage innovation, and build a strong foundation for students to excel academically and personally. Her passion for teaching and student development plays a vital role in shaping the institution’s success.

OUR VICE PRINCIPAL

Mrs. Swapna Arun Balkar, M.A., B.Ed., is an experienced and enthusiastic educator who plays a key role in the academic and administrative functioning of the school. She is known for her excellent organizational skills, student-friendly approach, and commitment to maintaining high educational standards. She actively supports the vision of the school by ensuring smooth coordination between teachers, students, and parents, and contributes significantly to creating a positive and progressive learning environment.

At the very outset, I would like to compliment you for the faith, the confidence and the interest you all have shown in Vivek Mandir School. It is heartening to know that Vivek Mandir School is making progress in all spheres of activities, be it academic, co-curricular, sports, environmental, use of technology and modern concept of education or community service.

Whatever milestones the School has achieved since its establishment in 2010, could not have been possible without the wholehearted support & co-operation of the parent community. I do hope the inspiration and support from the parents will continue to nurture & nourish the institution.
Similarly, I owe my gratitude towards all the teachers instrumental in achieving this height.

The objectives of the VMG are to impart quality education and inculcate right values among the children, which is prime need of this era. On behalf of the school and its managing committee, I take this opportunity to dedicate us to the task of laying a strong foundation for the India of tomorrow.
